(EDIT: the twitter posts have since been removed. Thanks to everyone who made that happen on my behalf, it's touching that people care)
hi all, don't steal art!
Sorry for the absence lately. I'm still drawing a lot (trying my hardest to shame the drawings I made last year, and it's working. I can hardly look at them), so that's been going on. It just hasn't been pony-related art, so I haven't been posting it here at all. Maybe one day?!
In the meantime, check out my quick guide on how to look like a prat on the internet.
1. Find art you like
2. Post it somewhere else, e.g. twitter.com/heart_autumn/statu…
3. Defend yourself against claims that you didn't make it
5. Profit! + do it more with other art
This may sound a lot like art theft, since it is. Here's the original I made in 2012, three years before now.
Kind of an old post, but all right. Here's another post with more stolen art, this time including not only my stuff but also a drawing of my friend Kooner-cz
's OC, Autumn Leaves. twitter.com/heart_autumn/statu…
Notice the tactical location of the signature. The ridiculously huge, full-resolution one is here, if you want to see it without the JPEG artifacts.

I mean, I guess this is kind of a long post to denounce just one person stealing stuff I made several years prior, but I haven't written a journal in a while so I'm going all out, here.
Point being, don't steal art, because stealing art is bad, kind of like Hitler. Also, if you see stolen art, you should let the original artist (and other people) know! I will thank here the person who took the time to send me a note telling me all about this. Thanks again.
I think that's it. I don't have a twitter account and it's not really worth it to me to make one just to interact with this person, but you can do what you want if you do
have a twitter account. But don't get in trouble, either.
Have fun drawing and not stealing other people's art!
