one more question will the characters in this game actually be the MLP.FIM characters?

The original idea was that yes, the characters would be humanized versions of the main 6 ponies, and would retain their respective personalities and relations with one another. You can probably expect some slight differences, but they will be evidently inspired by the FiM characters nonetheless.

I'm just curious.
Is this a game like Ni No Kuni where players are playing a game while reading a story at the same time or simply an RPG-like game where it's just pure dialogue and the player interacts with stuff?
